How do I get a title on a boat if I dont know the name of the previous registered owner? - title transfer boat ontario

We live in Texas, and we have separated a boat from a friend who has always been, and had no place to store your boat. He bought a man a few years ago and was not in the water because I get the water "loans" work. Now we have the boat and want the title and registration to receive so that we can do, but do not know, was the last registered owner who requests a transfer of ownership.
